Monkey business

Did this many years ago and thought not much about it. I however realised it is still making rounds in Ghana. Put here for those of you who have not yet come across it. NB. it is in the Twi language. Pardon me all you who are Twi-less.

Ghanaian in Hollywood

Ghana's first choice goalkeeper for the ongoing AFCON games, Fatau Dauda has been cast by Steven Spielberg in his latest horror movie, 'Scream or Die Trying'. This was after Dauda screamed into the cameras after Ghana scored against Cape Verde in their last AFCON match. Sense Not Fear(SNF) went to the Black Stars Camp in South Africa and met with the new horror movie star to know his reaction to the news.

SNF- Hello Dauda,and congratulations
(Fatau Dauda)FD- Thank you
SNF- How does it feel like being cast by such a great director as Steven Spielberg?
FD- I am soo happy!! I didn't expect it at all.I came here to play football and soon i will be a movie star.
SNF- Yes Dauda, we all are surprised. Why did you decide to do that in the camera?
FD- You know, as a child i have always loved to act, and we were always told that anytime is a good time to show what we can do, so i decided to take the chance.
SNF_ Dauda, you have been cast for Spielberg's latest horror movie, ''Scream or Die Trying", do you think you can live up to the expectation?
FD- Hmm. first of all i didn't even expect to be selected, I mean there are so many people who are also qualified, like the Congo goalkeeper and even those in  Europe like Balotelli but i was chosen. So the expectation is high but i believe with God by my side i can scare them.
SNF- Will you look at taking to horror movie full time?
FD- Well,i believe horror movie is not my only field. I can do action film too and i intend to show them the next time Ghana scores.
SNF- What will you do Dauda? Pick a gun and shoot into the crowd?
FD- haha. no. i have something else in mind. but i want it to be a surprise.
SNF- You are primarily been cast because you will not need makeup or props. How do you feel about it?
FD -it is not everyday that you get people of my caliber so i am happy and ready.
SNF -We would like to take this opportunity to clarify the ongoing debate about your age. How old are you Dauda?
FD- Honestly, i don't know but my grandma says my parents left me in her care and fled during a war called the Sagrenti war but we don't know which year that was so i told GFA i was 28. I am sure it will not be far from my true age.
SNF_ Do you think Ghana can win the tournament?
FD- Oh yes, Ghana is a good team and they have a very good goalkeeper so i think they can win it.

SNF- Thank you Dauda and all the best in your new role and with the Black Stars.
FD - Thank you for the interview. I hope to see you again soon
